The Team
EMELIA SACKEY
Emelia is a Chartered Banker with over fifteen years of experience in Retail Banking, Business Finance Management and Financial Digital Operations.
She's currently head of E-Banking in one of the top banks in Ghana.
She is professionally associated with Chartered Institute of Bankers in Ghana. Emelia is the President Elect for Rotary Club of Accra La East for the year 2022/23 and President of the club 2023/24.
Through her Rotary club, she has undertaken projects in Child Healthcare, Community Services, Provision of Clean water and many other humanitarian projects.
HAJIA SALIMA IDDRISU
Hajia Salima Iddrisu is a rural and social community development officer with thirty-five years of experience in the rural community development sector.
She was the former deputy director for Ghana community development and social welfare. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Rural Community Development.
Hajia Salima is the founder and CEO of Community Growth Initiative which supports women empowerment, adult education, youth development, career guidance and rural communities development programmes.
DR. PATRICK BAAH-ACQUAH PhD, DBA
Dr. Patrick Baah-Acquah PhD, is a management consultant and Executive Director of Central Eagles Company Limited. He is an International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank group, certified trainer and a signatory and a graduate business school professor. He lectures healthcare financing and productivity management at the University of Ghana Business School, Fiancial Analysis for managers and Corporate Finance at Ghana Communication Technology University and Coventry University UK MBA programs.Patrick holds two doctorate degrees, a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) in Global Business and Leadership and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Business Administration with Banking and Finance option. He is a fellow and a director of institute of business analysts and consultants, Ghana. He is a finalist at the Chartered Institute of Management Accountant (CIMA).
Dr. Baah-Acquah has over twenty (20) years’ experience working in the banking and finance industry. Dr.Patrick is a graduate business school researcher and has been conference chair, for some international conferences. He recently presented a paper titled, ‘the effect of inflation on profitability of commercial banks’ at an international conference organised by the science society in Singapore, Asia.
GIDEON AMPONSAH OKAI
Gideon Amponsah Okai is a Lawyer and also a qualified Quantity Surveyor. He has over 8 years’ experience of working within Law specialising in civil litigation, family and personal injury. Gideon has worked with firms such as Adukus Solicitors (London), Hawksley’s Law LTD (London); and Profinance Associates LTD (London) and is currently the Director of Bridge International Law LTD (London).
Gideon holds an MPA in Public Administration from London Metropolitan University (London) GDL in Law from BPP Law School (London) and BSc Hon in Quantity Surveying from Greenwich University (London)......
Gideon was tasked by Nexus Consultants International to galvanise all accredited civil society groups in West Africa on behalf of Civil Society Organisation UK for funding of their projects and activities during Tony Blair's Administration as Prime Minister in UK.
Gideon was the Financial Secretary to Begoro Manma Union UK from 2006 to 2009.
He donated twenty computers to the Presbyterian Women's vocational training institute in Begoro.
Gideon has previously worked as a Senior Administrator for Youth Impact, a charity organisation that worked in partnership with Royal Borough of Greenwich & Bexley Council to combat knife crime. Gideon was awarded in 2010 by then Mayor of London (Boris Johnson) for his contribution to community development.
DR. SERWAA
AGYEPONG-DANQUAH
Dr. Serwaa Agyepong-Danquah is a Doctor of Pharmacy who works with the The Kroger Company of USA. With over 21 years of community retail pharmacy experience, Dr Agyepong-Danquah served the Lexington, Kentucky community for 1 year and is currently serving the Rockwall County ,Texas community by delivering quality healthcare, offering medication advice, reviewing medication profiles and administering various lifesaving vaccinations including the Covid vaccine.
Not only is she active in the American community, she also actively leads the Ghanaian community Dallas Fort Worth area by being a patron of the Select Ladies Club and the vibrant Ghanain Nurses Association of Dallas Forth Worth.
Dr Serwaa Agyepong-Danquah is also an entrepreneur and CEO of Wax Prints and More, a Dallas based African Fabric and clothing Business.
She has built strong trusted client relationships, honed her management skills and met every corporate objective she has been faced with.
In addition, her experience working with cross functional teams has taught her the importance of open communication to inspire shared project vision, implementation and execution.
